Quick question...

I recently had volovo program a remote control for my door locks. Is it normal for the locks to take a second to open after pressing the unlock button? I press once and you have to wait until the door unlocks, its not instant? is that how its supposed to be? when you press a second time, u have to wait again for like ad additional second.

 

I have an audi a6 2003(i know its a different brand), but when i press the LOCK button it closes after half a sec, and when i push the UNLOCK it opens immediately, maybe the relay (if im not mistaken) is bad?

 

There is a little delay in them that is normal.

 

It's so you dont accidently unlock your car when you put your keys away, the range on my remote is like 100 yards

 

Someone has a range of 100 yards? My range is about 10 feet, or less. Think a new battery would help?

 

If you press the remote against your head when open/locking the doors you get more range. try it for yourselves.
