neither of my remotes are working, how can i tell whether they need to be reprogramed or if the reciever is bad. None of the remote buttons work. As it is now i must use the skeleton key to get in which sets of the alarm.

 

Could the battery in the remotes have gone bad? It seems mine just get weaker and weaker until you are standing next to the car in order to use the remote. Did this happen all at once? On my 2005 you can look at the center display and it will tell you how many remotes are programmed to the car.
