Replacing or sealing winshield fluid tank
I have 2002 Volvo s40 with a leaky windshield wiper reservoir tank. I am wondering if there is a generic tank (i.e. cheap) that I can get to replace it or
can I seal it. The car is too old to spend a lot of money on, so I am reluctant.to buy a new replacement tank.
There has got to be some way to fix this without spending a lot of money for new parts.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

New reservoir is about $50. Not sure what your budget is. https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...rvoir-30632622
Of course confirm fitment and pay close attention to chassis callouts on parts. from chassis # 463684 noted on the link I sent

Looks like no one is making knockoff reservoirs for your model - very strange. I normally keep an eye on eBay for things like this (knowing that someone will be listing one before TOO long).
Otherwise, the S40 is a common enough car that you can probably find one in a local boneyard (for chump change). Also, look at the other variants that would use the same part.
