Rotor on end of cam shaft

Rotor on end of cam shaft
I have a 2006, S40 with a 2.4l non turbo. I'm putting it back together. The motor pretty much came to me in a box. I have 1 rotor that goes on the end of a camshaft. Is this rotor the "reluctor" for the cam position sensor on the intake camshaft?
