I just bought a used 2001 S40 1.9t (78k miles) and it vibrates when idle. I have read previous thread that it might be caused by bad engine mounts. I just want to know how much does it cost to replace the engine mount? I noticed some websites sell OEM Engine Mounts for around $100. Have any of you done this? should i take it to volvo dealer or just non-dealer repair shop? Please advice.. I will appreciate.

Hi, yep it'd be the engine mounts. What websites have them for $100? Last quote from my Volvo dealer was about $400. Thanks

The 135598 should be the mount you need.But if you still have vibration you will also need 2 others.
Most likely the 2 on the top of the list with no pics.

 

Would they be the same as for the 2L S40? Everywhere only has the 1.9 so it seems
