Hey guys,

I'm new here.

I have a 2010 Volvo S40 and I've found that I have a very very wet carpet in the passenger foot well to the rear of the driver's seat. I haven't yet taken the carpet up but I cannot find the source of the leak. I've seen people have mentioned a blocked sun roof drain but I do not have a sun roof.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what may be causing this leak and how I (or a professional) can fix it?

Check your coolant level, can possibly be the heater core or even the cowl drain.

 

where does the car park , if under a tree etc the debris need to be cleaned from the vents as they block the flow when it rains , but if not then its the heater core as mentioned check coolant level if low you can just bypass the heater core to make sure not easy to change that heater
