Default s40 brake caliper

Hi , im new to this so bare with me
i recently bought a 2000 s40 deisel and i want to replace the front brake caliper !!
How do i disconnect the caliper from the brake hose ??
any help would be much appreciated

Are you familiar with a banjo bolt? Your brake hose is held to the caliper with a banjo bolt that allows fluid through it. It also has copper washers. You simply unscrew the bolt holding the brake hose to the caliper. You will need to clean it before reattaching. The leaking brake fluid tends to wash dirt onto the previously clean sealing surface.

I have calipers from a 2001 volvo S40, super cheap! LMK if you want one I can mail it to you in a flat rate box.
