S40 Bumper Removal
Hi, have any of you removed the front bumper on a Volvo S40 before? Im about to give it my best shot this long weekend, and I wanted to know if any of you have done it before and can provide some DIY tips. Thanks!
I found this video in case any of you are curious about the process I'll be trying to follow:

I've removed mine several times from my 2005. It's pretty straight forward. Just remove the top fasteners last. If you have fog lights you can disconnect them once the front clip is free.
Thanks. How did you remove the front headlights? That's the major concern I have, besides breaking any plastic clips in the grille or fog light covers.
Also, I believe there is a block of foam between the plastic bumper cover and the steel bumper. Is that glued to the bumper cover? Thanks!

The headlights are super easy on the 2004.5+ models. There is a vertical metal bar holding the headlights in position on the backside of the housing. You simply pull that bar free and the entire headlight assembly slides forward. Then unclip the wiring harness and it's free.
