Hello, my blower motor doesn't work and recently noticed that my engine fan doesn't work neither. Car doesn't overheat in normal operation, but was wondering if there is any link to both fans not working? S40, 2007, 2.0l diesel.

 

Not sure about a link personally. I would start with both fuse panels to make sure there isn't something obvious.

 

Fuses are all good, power is going to the cooling fan. Just seems to be a big job to replace the blower, whole dash needs to come out. I'll wait for a sunny day

 

Keep us informed please. Yours is the first that I've read of the newer models having blower motor issues. Anyone else here had any issues with 2004.5 and up blower motors?
