Engine blower fan won't stop either!
Hi all... first post here I'm after an opinion
I drove home from my parents a couple of days ago and stopped the car, and the engine fan stayed full on until it ran the battery flat. I read herehttps://volvoforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9521 that the fan needs replacing. I'm having trouble finding somewhere to do it but want to drive 300 miles over the next week or so.
The fan is disconnected now and the battery replaced - do you think it would be ok to just connect the fan up for the few long journeys I need to do before I can get it repaired? Then disconnect when I park.
Its a 2002 V70 petrol T5
Thanks in advance!
Ben
