I have a 2004.5 S40 Turbo. I thought a belt was squeeling so I popped the hood and discovered the noise was because the engine is sucking air through the oil fill cap. It pulls so hard it was hard to pull my hand off from over the fill hole? The car is running fine? Just turned 105K hyway miles. Has anyone has this problem, is it a Turbo issue?

Do a search on "S40 PCV valve" and you should be able to find info on the extended warranty.

+1. It's a known problem that Volvo has a recall or extended the warranty on. There is a Chassis break for the warranty though.

I had the same problem.....commun problem ;
It is the `Diaphram`inside the `OIL FILTER HOUSING`that is punctured.
Must replace the Oil Filter Housing.....
