S40 Sunroof Switch

I have a 2008 S40 and the sunroof stopped working. I pulled the switch but am not sure how to test it. Can anyone out there help me with this?

Did you check the fuses?

Yes I did and they are fine. I've read that there is often a connection to the siren but there are no messages pointing to a problem.
