S40 Turbo AWD
Just curious, saw 1 for sale. 2006. The AWD intrigued me. Also Ive never had a turbo. Would I be getting into something that needs more repairs and are parts still available? Thinking of a 2nd older volvo and my S40 goes just fine without a turbo. Should I look closer or walk away? (120k miles, about $7500) Maybe not a daily driver? Is the AWD reliable?
Thanx

Parts are easily found for these cars if you know where to look (IPDUSA, FCP Euro, Tasca to name a few places).
If the car was well cared for than it can be good but expect to replace a few items:
Timing belt changed?
Front lower control arm bushings
Radiator hose (plastic T's).
Motor mounts (3)

Thanx for the replies. Ive also seen videos on the "Haldex"(?) system. Could be costly for someone who cant get under the car anymore. Ive been told I dont need a hobby car (thanks babe......lol) oh well. Maybe car 3 should be a bit more reserved. Fewer moving parts etc. Wife is leaning toward another but newer Camry. Go figure......Thanx again all
