Default Serpentine Belt replacement

Hi Guys,
I did a quick search and didn't see anything for my car 05 S40 T5. I need to replace both serpentine belts and I wondering if I should do it myself I do many of my own mods and repairs but I have never done this. So that being said I'm looking for a how to, manual or any kind of advice.

Thanks!!

Hey,

Shouldn't be that hard......I looked it up too and didn't see anything. Email FCPGrtoton and have them look it up for u. A lot of times they might have it, but not on the catalog or can get it....

I did it and I wish I hadnt. I am an aircraft mechanic by trade and have all the tools, equip, etc... Took me all day Saturday and all day Sunday. A volvo shop can do it in a couple hours.

I like to enjoy my weekends. Just ask yourself how much is your time worth?

If you do, just make sure to line up the tick marks on the belt with those on the wheels.

Guess I should have been more specific. I changed the Serpentine Belt, Timing Belt and Water Pump.

Thanks guys!! I think I need to do the Serpentine and timing. I also need breaks on the back. So… idk I'll see how ambitious I feel when I get back from my vacation next week.

I should be more specific too... it was 20 min. to change only the one serpentine belt.
