Default Serpentine Belt replacement

Have an S70 that is due for replacement of the serpentine belt -- first time I bought it from Volvo no problems. I am wondering if I should use an aftermarket belt here is what I found that is available:
Hutchinson for $16.90
Gates for $38.21
Conitech for $27.02

Any suggestions on which is better or should I just stick with original Volvo part which I haven't priced yet. Also if I go with an aftermarket as above would the replacement interval still be 60k miles?

Thanks in advance. A lot of great info on this site

Yes, the interval is still the same. Price the Volvo belt and if it's less or equal to the Gates, then get it. I like Gates belts and use them on all my rides, but a factory part will last also. Never use cheap belts from discount auto stores.

Default 1998 S70 Serpentine Belt ( Help Me Please)

Im trying to replace the serpentine belt on my s70. Im not using the serpentine tool. Can someone please tell me what size socket wrench do i need to use to fit inside of the hole on the pulley? I cant use a 1/2 its too small. Do I use a 36mm?

Probably. Just run through all of your metric sockets until you find the right one. I wish Volvo wouldn't have such a great variety of screw sizes...

can't believe the crappy answers you got to this. All you wanted to know was how to move the tensioner to remove the serp belt. You got answers like crow bars and so on.
Here: get it from this forum...

i'd love to see that image. I have a manual for it but the reason i ask, because the belt routing i have currently does not match what the manual says. Also the manual goes by an older model of an 850....few things are the same but others i cant rely on it basically....Can somebody place a pic up of their belt?

Attached is what i got from IPD when i got my belt for my 850; looks like it's the same for S70 thru '98. Sorry for the low resolution but that was necessary to get it under this site's files size limitation.

Apparently they changed the routing afterward; that's why the manuals are wrong.

Question

I saw jg1 mentioned the prices below for serpentine belts.

Hutchinson for $16.90
Gates for $38.21
Conitech for $27.02

I wonder where can I get the gates belt? Is there any reliable website?
