2001 S40, RHD, I have replaced the front springs/shccks/top mounts and on the driver side the spring keeps spinning when driving resulting in it rubbing against the body and making a noise on right turns.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

 

There's a specific orientation of the strut mount to the strut.

You need to align the hole in the mount with the one on the strut otherwise the strut will wind up too close to the body.

I am lining them up but the right hand spring still seems to turn a bit when driving.
