Hey everyone. We are having a new issue with our 2001 S40. Last night car started normally, it did have the gas light on. I get up to go to work this morning and the car isn't allowing the key to go to the start position. It feels like it wants to start but something is stopping it.

We figured out that the we can bi pass that by using our remote start paddle and it starts the car.

Today I did go to Advanced Autoparts and they pulled the code- P0130 They said the P0130 is low circuit.

How does this relate to me not being able to turn the key forward past III in the ignition

EDIT: I can put the car in neutral and all the electronics and lights are functioning. Steering Wheel is not locked.

 

Problem has corrected itself with another key and now the original key works
