Sway Bar Bushing/Bracket

Sway Bar Bushing/Bracket
the dealer wants $75 for the parts and $450 for labor to replace the sway bar bushings on a 2001 s40!
they said there's about 4.5 hrs of labor for the job....
does this sound outrageous to anyone else but me?
any thoughts on how to get this done cheaper? my local mechanic won't touch it.

I had the same problem about 4 months ago. I was pretty shocked when I got a few bids on it. One reputable shop quoted me $350 total OTD so I quickly had them do it. When they were half way finished with the job they called me and said they completely under estimated the time required to do it. They honored their price quote but they kept my car for the whole day.
