Default Swaybar End Links

hi...need to replace both swaybar end links on the '01 s40. looks like it should be fairly straightforward but i've never done it before. i don't want to get them off and find out i can't the new ones on.

any advice? step-by-step instructions? pics would be great :-)

again, thanks for any help. this forum is great.

It's not very difficult but if you install links with grease nipples it might need the right order of steps. I wrote a little repair guide a while back, its this thread: https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-...d-links-51013/

Default sway bar end links and bushing / bracket

actually i replaced both of them today. not as bad as i thought it was gonna be. the hardest part was getting the top bolt off on the left side...i had to use a torch to loosen it. other than that it was one of the easier things i've done on the car.

while i was under there, i noticed the bracket (bushing?) on the sway bar itself on the right side is broken.

any thoughts on how easy/hard it is to get to to replace it?
