Hey guys whats up? I was just wondering if i got 18 inch rims, would it be able to fit the rim and a tire size of 225-50-18, would the tire and rim be too big for the car? thanks in advance

 

You can fit 18's, but what tire size I can't answer that for you.

 

yeah i know i can fit 18", you think 225-45-18 would protect the rim enough? like is it thick enough?

 

That is what I was going to run on my s70 when I had 18" Pegasus rims.

 

Was it pretty thick? Did you have to worry about potholes and bending your rims? Or was the tire thick enough?

 

Well like I said that was what I "was going" to run. I never got around to purchasing the tires because I needed the cash for something else more important.

I do believe you will be fine with potholes and they are thick enough. I saw a set at the local shop and they were decently thick.

 

A 45 series tire will def. protect your rim, no need to worry
