I have a 2002 Volvo s40 automatic trans. The car runs mint except for one thing. But I'm not sure if it's normal.
For example, I'm driving, foot on the pedal, I take my foot off to coast down the road, then I need to pick up some speed so I lightly hit the gas. When I do that, I hear a light sounding banging noise probably coming from the tranny.
Im not sure if it's the clutch doing its thing, or something to worry about. It only does it after I'm coasting and I hit the gas again. Im assuming its the tranny popping back into gear, but is it normal for it to make a sound that I can hear from in the car? I also feel a light bump on my foot when it happens.
Any advice would be great. Thank you very much.
