here is the story:

purhcased 1996 Volvo 960 for $1300. with 1,02,000 K miles. Motor and transmission is very good.


Will need to spend about $1100. changing motor mount, sway bar link, control arm bushings, various seals and Radiator.

Other than that the car run excellent. Can someone pls advise me if I should spend $1100.00 or just get rid of the car. Will the car last atleast 3 years after I fix it.


btw: major service like timing belt was done at 90k miles.

 

I would spend it and drive the car you should be fine for the most part.
You might have a few little things to do to it in the next 3 years.
