I took my car for servicing and the service guy told me that I need a transmission flush because he says the oil in there smells bad. I bought the car at 80k (I don't have the service records) and now I have 102k on the car and mever did a transmission flush. I was wondering if it is safe to do a transmission flush on such high mileage car.

 

You should not have to much of a problem.I perfer to do a drain and refill.But you can choose to do a flush if you want.We are in the process of getting a flush machine so im not to sure what happens with the high milage cars.
