The wife just came home with transmission fluid pouring from the front of the car. A brief investigation revealed the culprit to be a loose line (click on blue connector) on the drivers side radiator. I have no idea how much fluid was lost, how much it holds, or even where to fill it up or check the fluid level. The owners manual says nothing about the tranny, and the dealership is closed. On the positive, there is no slippage and the loose line fixed the leak. Any help is appreciated.

Edit; The car is an '06 S40 with the geartronix transmission.

 

You fill through the dipstick tube.

 

I can't find the dipstick tube. I've been all over this thing & can't see anything that resembles a dipstick.

 

It is Yellow and usually hidden down under where the lower radiator hose goes to the radiator.
It is really hard to find but it is there.

 

Okay, I found it. I'm going to take it over to the carwash & get the underside sprayed off before the Polizei come give me a tickett for harming the environment, or some crazy stuff.I'll see if I can get to it over on post. Thanks for the help!!
