How hard is it to do the transmission service on the s40? any help would be appreciated.

 

what do you mean with transmission service? i bought my 2001 volvo s40t at 87k in July 2009. Now it is 100k or so. what i did was to "drain and fill". you have to drain the bottom using either 1/2 or 3/8 drive socket. and fill from the dipstick. You need to have a long funnel. pepboys have the funnel for the transmission oil. i used mobil one synthetic atf. good luck!
