Transponder ring
I only have a single key for my s40,
if I went to the salvage yard and found a s40 with the remote to lock and unlock doors
couldn't I take the transponder ring from under dash remove mine and use that one with the remote.

The remote is programmed to the cem - not the antenna ring. Do not believe this will work
