My right turn signal flickers when I switch it on. But this happens occasionally. I know this is usually
a sign that your turn signal light is burnt out, but this time I do not think so.
It also works properly sometimes. So a burnt bulb just does not come back on.
What could be the probelm?
Any help appreciated, Thanks in advance.

If by "flicker" you mean that the blinker is clicking much faster than normal, then it could be that you have a flakey turn signal bulb, connector or wiring.
The only realistic way to troubleshoot this is to wait until it happens, then pull over and leave the turn signal on, and see which bulb isn't working. It's very likely it's just a bad contact at the bulb itself (not uncommon - I had this issue on a V70 previously).
