when you did the PCV, did you also clean the ports going into the block? did you reuse any tubes and clean out back to the intake etc? It may not be the PCV causing the leaks - I recall some other posts about issues with the VVT gear can create a leak... (but I haven't searched for older posts). Are you getting any check engine codes?

If the VVT is leaking from the plunger, you need to replace the VVT. I had the same issue, Royal PITA.

Also my 'vacuum' does something similar. More of a vibration in and out instead of a steady suction.

I Did clean out the ports however I was expecting them to actually be Clogged Clogged . What I found instead was some buildup in the lower port but not enough to restrict air flow at least in my opinion same thing with the breather, didn't seem to be that bad, now the PTC did seem to be clogged it was hard to get to all the way by the Turbo. From looking at other videos of clogged PCV's it also leads me to question if this engines behavior is in fact PCV related but would anyone know what other components can make The internal pressure act in this way?
Also Yeah That VVT is a PITA alright third time having to go in there -.- .

Yeah The Vid is in slow Mo so it's a lot more rapid than that. If I were to open the oil cap. The oil would shoot all Over the place including my face if I'm 2 to 3 feet from it. And no I don't get a CEL because the light doesn't function. I'm guessing the previous owner knew what was up and didn't want to answer any questions

next step would be to read the OBD2 codes - and put a new bulb for the CEL. Some places will fail inspections if the light fails to show during the dash check...

Ok so After doing some airflow test with the car Running I Discovered the Following:

Using a latex glove I took out the oil dipstick and Placed the glove over the hole. It was held down By a Rubber Band. I started the Car and Again Got an intermittent vacuum where the glove would flutter in and out.

The center port in the breather box the one that has the hose that splits two ways, one end to a Needle port on the intake manifold, and the other towards the PTC. Located both hose endings and Unplugged those.

Then I placed my Finger over the PTC end and Felt suction coming from the hose I plugged it with My finger and Got a better vacuum at the dipstick.

I then reconnected the narrow hose back into the Intake and Bam! Full Vacuum!
Now I'm just trying to figure out why! Lol I connect the ptc hose back into its port and I lose vacuum again.

Also I used some blue silicone to patch the depression on the VVT plunger and The leaking has Stopped . I Want to replace the hub at some point. But I just want to ensure that that is the only leak source at the moment.
