hey,

bought my first car. a blue 2.0 96 mod. s40 and i am loving it so far.

Yesterday some strange electrical problems has started coming up and i need urgent help to solve them.
When i push the AC button to turn it "on", the AC turns "off" and shows green light. when i turn it "off", the AC turns "on" and shows orange light.
the thing is where it should be "off" its "on" and visa versa.
its complete opposite of what it should be.
the same thing goes for warning lights (the red triangle) its "off" where its "on" and "on" where it should be "off".

I wasnt too worried about it, cuz they were some small issues but today the small light on the left of automatic gear (stick gear) which shows if the car is in P, D, R or N. is stuck on one of them and isnt moving with the gears. the car is working but it is irritating to not know which gear the car is in.

i am a student and i just bought my car and i dont have much to spend on it. i was wondering if somebody knew where the fault lies or anybody else having/had the same problem.
