I just bought my 2000 s40 1.9t. break pedal goes all the way down, I was told that I needed to replace the master cylinder wich i did but is still the same way, now my mechanich told me that he can not fix it because there is air in the abs system and that i have to go to the dealer, any other option???

 

Can you drive the car at all safely?
If so find someplace safe and hit the brakes hard and activate the ABS then try rebleeding the brakes.

 

yea just try bleeding the brakes...
