Hey All!
I have owned my S40 T5 AWD for two weeks tomorrow. So far, I have spent eight hours in the waiting room at Portland Volvo and $120 filling my tank four times (in six hundred miles) My gas mileage according to the computer is around 14 in the suburbs, and goes to 17 when I am on 295 going to the dealership. (average) My drivers side rear tweeter started buzzing at 400 miles, and now my center speaker does the same at deep tones (prem. sound and nav.)
Is this a sign of things to come, or is this normal?
Should I bear with it or trade it for the 325xi I wanted to further overspend on ?

Hmmm, those are minor things, you should get it fixed since its under guarantee and be happy with your S40, its a hell of a car, and a lot faster and safer than a stupid BMW(there's one every 10 miles)

 

Yeah. Now Unemployed Teenager+200/month Payment+240/month gas bill+24 hours/month wasted at stealership is a minor issue.

 

usually at the delearship, they offer loaners to people? why didnt you want to take that?

Id rather have the s40 t5 over the 325xi any day of the week.......

that sucks, I have heard that the engines need to break in, and once they do, you'll start to see the better gas mileage..

 

because i am under 21. I scheduled my next two appointements a week out so my mother can get a loaner an I can drive her gas guzzler. Does anyone have any addresses or experiences with this, the car is two weeks old literally, I want my money back.
