When driving there is a whistling noise coming from the engine. The check engine light is on, not blinking. When the oil cap is removed, you can hear pressure escaping from inside the reservoir. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Does anyone know if the 2009 T5s are supposed to have the PCV valve problem fixed?

 

Your oil trap is at fault and is covered under a warranty depending on year. Go to the dealer.

Yep, exactly what he just said! I just had this fixed today under warranty at my Volvo Dealer. They replace the filter housing and the PCV hose and it fixed it.
