Default why do my shock mounts squeak?

Hey gang,
All four of my shocks have relatively new hardware on them and for the most part they work great. My only problem is that the minute the temp goes below about 34degF I get squeaking from all four corners for the first 5-10min of the trip before they warm up. It's bad enough that it's cold when you get into your car but the last thing you need is to listen to the car complain about it as well!

Have any of you in northern climates come across this? If so, did you have a solution to getting it resolved. Honestly I don't think I have it in me to take those things apart again but we'll see...

the strut mounts have three parts - the bushing and spring seat are separated by a plastic piece. your noises can either be that or the spring rubbing on the spring seats(top or bottom). Take a close look to make sure you don't have any broken spring ends or an alignment issue between the spring seat and the spring.

Thank you. I’m guessing it’s the springs running up against the seats. I wonder if it would make a difference if I sprayed some silicon up there from below...
