I have a 2003 s40. The driver's side rear window will go down but won't go back up. Symptoms and what I have tried so far:

- Window is completely unresponsive from driver's seat control
- Window goes down but not up from driver's side rear seat control
- When window is down, I can hear the motor engage when I press to go down but nothing when I press to go up.

- Swapped the control switch on the driver's side rear door with the one on the passenger side = passenger side window goes up and down with the driver's side switch but the driver's side has the same problem (goes down, won't go up).
- Pulled the regulator and checked it = nothing bound up, everything seems to work when I manually move the parts.
- Removed the motor and replaced with re-manufactured one I bought from O'Rielly auto parts = same problem (goes down, won't go up).

Any ideas? Maybe electrical/wiring issue?

Stupid Question: The control module being the driver's seat switch that controls all 4 windows?
