From the drivers seat it looks like the headlamp washers are trying to wash the hood of the car. Is there a way to adjust the spray direction of these little guys?

Not sure but I would check with the Dealer.
Look at the Jet and see if there is a little Ball with a hole in there. If so you should be able to move the Ball to adjust.

depending on how bad it is, the washer nozzles spray rather high because they are meant to be used while in motion
the wind shield washer will get drops on the rear glass when parked at times
