I want to do this work myself. Does anyone have any diagrams/instructions for doing this work? should I replace the timing belt while I am in there? also, read about using the gasket(for water pump) from Volvo vs. 3rd party, does anyone have any experience with this ?

 

how many miles on the belt??? If I were you and you have to replace the water pump I would replace the belt, tensioner, and idler pulley...you can get a complete kit including the water pump and gasket from this sites sponser fcpgroton follow this link and you can see for your self about the kit: http://www.fcpgroton.com/category-ex...872/by_year/51 again if you are close to having to change the belt since your going to change out your pump I would just do the complete job....also there are instructions in the s60 section on how to do the timing belt. good luck
