Default 02 S60 A/C low pressure switch location?

This was easy on the old 850, but darn if I can find it on this one. Anybody know where they hid it?

Thanks!
Dave

It does not have a low pressure switch instead it has an evap temp sensor.
What is wrong?

Default 02 S60 A/C low pressure switch location?

Thanks for the reply... The usual, No A/C. Compressor clutch not coming on. Thought I'd try the obvious before going for a recharge. I was pretty familiar with the 850, but this one's a bit different it seems. I'm an electronics guy so that stuff I can manage. Appreciate any advise.

No, not at all. I do get the A/C light on the rocker switch but the compressor never kicks in. If there is no low pressure switch, do you know what else could cause it?

Well it would somehow have to tell if it was low on freon but I am not sure how it does it.
Did you check for power at the compressor?

Not yet. Going to head outside in a few minutes and give it a look. I'm a little surprised to hear they did away with the low pressure switch. I thought that was the lifesaver for the compressor if you lost refrigerant.

Update. No 12V on the compressor. If I run 12V from the battery to the compressor, the clutch kicks in and the compressor runs. I ran it like that for about a minute with my hand on the evap lines got NO cold. 99% certain I'm low on R134. Thankfully there must be a sensor somewhere that trips when the thing is empty.

Hopefully just a charge will fix it up.

Thanks for the help. BTW I had a '88 Mustang LX 5.0 Sedan. Fun car! ...as long as it wasn't raining. In fact, you haven't experienced true terror unless you've driven one of those in snow.
