'05 S60 CD Player Error

'05 S60 CD Player Error

I have a Hu-650 System in my car. Whenever i put a cd in the player, it ejects the cd and says: " Cd Player Error". What can be the reason? Please help...

Is it with original CD'sor with CD's burned at home?

For some reason mine does the same withCD's burned at home only but is ok with original CD's

The error was with all types of CD's. We had to change a part in the HU-650 Cd Player and it is OK now. It cost me around $200 + fuel!

What part did they change? I have the same problem with the HU613 and can not think of anything else but buy a used one on ebay.

Hey, Kngff wasn't the part covered under warranty, I mean you have an 05, and I am sure your car car hasn't gone past 80,000km, so why did u have to pay $200?

Hi there Bilal,
I missed the warranty just with 1 month and they refused to pay the part. It was the lens that was changed I guess, just as in CD-Players. It is quite OK now, though.
