I am having trouble with my passenger side child rear door safety lock. The lock seems to be staying engaged regardless of the position of the lock's switch. Even if I turn the switch to the unlocked position, the door still cannot be opened from inside the car. Can anyone help?

 

either the child safety lock is sticking or there is a problem the assembly that opens the door when you use the inside handle...take it to a shop and have a tech take the door panel off and try to see what is going on
