06 s60 no start
I am working on an 06 s60. I did an engine swap after someone else had attempted a head gasket job and made a complete mess of the engine. Now with everything put back together the engine will crank for like a second or 2 then just abruptly stops. I know it is not a battery issue because we replaced it with a brand new battery and even tried to jump it.
It just shows a message on the dash that states, “Immobilizer, see manual”
when I hook up a scan tool I do not even get a reading on the ECU. All the other modules communicate fine except for the ECU. So I am thinking possibly an issue with the ECU but not 100% sure. Any input would be really appreciated! Thank you!

TRY Another antenna ring,around where the key goes.I have several,BUT don,t really want to sell them to you,unless that you know for certain that it is the problem,anyway try to use a different scanner.I have many s60 parts from sale from a 2006 and a 2007 ,hit me up if you need something for cheap.
