Default Immobiliser try start again

Hi,

I am new to the group and looking for some help/advice. I was sat in the car yesterday listening to music with my daughter for around 5-10 minutes when i had a message come up saying "information centre will be shut down in xxx seconds". I tried turning the car on but after initially cranking with no joy, it then just clicked. I have since changed the battery as the old one was clearly dead, but I am still getting the same issue and same message. Is there anything that I need to do when changing a battery like this to erase any old memory from the ECU? Or is this going to be a case of the immobiliser will need to be reprogrammed?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Diagnostics will show what causing the issue.
Because of low battery some ECU may corrupt immo data.
