2001 S60-Strong gas smell/rough start
Hi all.
I've had an issue for the last couple of weeks with a strong gas smell in my S60. It smells from the outside, as well as in the cabin and trunk. Also, it seems to be just as strong in the cabin after sitting overnight as after driving it. It gets way better when running the air vents on high, so I'm fairly certain that it isn't leaking under the hood anywhere. Also, there is no visible gas leak on the ground underneath the car. It's also been starting a little rough within the last few days, taking a few seconds to turn over. I'd love to fix the problem myself, but I'm just wondering where to begin troubleshooting? Is getting a smoke machine to test for vapor leaks a reasonable start? If so, where is my entry point on the car to smoke the system? And if not start there, where should I start? Thanks guys.
