Is this 2002 S60 just a lemon?
Car has 130k miles. At 59k, we had to replace alternator, power steering
pump, thermstat, crank sensor, serpentine belt. Since then we have spent
thousands of dollars on other issues. Electronics seldom works, paint has
been peeling for years, have replaced door locks on 3 doors. I could go on
and on but don't remember everything. Anyway, latest quote for repairs is
$2400 as transmission problems and axle issues. We've been offered
$1,000 only because it has new tires and 2 keys.
This is the first Volvo we've ever owned and will most likely be the last.
I thought Volvo's normally lasted much longer than 130k miles. All my
other vehicles have lasted much longer than this.
