2002 Volvo V70 Sunroof stuck in the partial open position please help
I'm 99% sure its a motor issue. I've checked fuses, nothing there. The sunroof is stuck in the vent up position. It physically wont fully open since i've owned the car. I just need to get this closed. Apparently there is no screw or bolt to manually close the panel? Am I missing something?
I don't care about damaging interior parts or the motor anything really I just dont want to get rained on or have howling wind on my commute to work. I'm okay with doing anything to get it closed, including removing the motor or breaking it if I need to.
This car has been such a piece of garbage. The transmission shifts so hard it knocked my glasses off and things are failing every week now. An amazingly smooth, gorgeous, and ergonomic piece of garbage but a piece nonetheless.
The only other Volvo I'll ever buy again is either a RWD car or a V90 when it comes out only because its under warranty. I just need to make this car last for a month until I can get a Prius.
Help.
