Solved this issue by replacing the alarm fuse after reading a prior post. Many thanks....

The Alarn needs servicing light had been coming on for some time now but I paid no attention to it. Since replacing the fuse the messsage has gone away as well.

Surely this saved a trip to the dealer and no doubt a big service charge.

Do a search on here if you do not already know how to test the siren.
