2003 S60 headlamp levelling motor
I accidentally removed the headlamp levelling motor because I thought it was the bulb unit. Now I can't get the motor to clip into the reflector part. It looks like it's snap fit. Does anyone have a worhshop manual drawing to confirm? has anyone done this before ? I've been trying for ages. I attach pictures of the motor and a fuzzy picture of what I'm trying to clip into.

Thanks, billofdurham. I', trying to do the RH side and access is so tight I just can't seem to get it in.
I should have asked which side you were doing and, of course, you are doing the side with further instructions.
If you haven't already done so detach the air hose from the control module housing to give more clearance.

I think it's kind of half in, two things concern me though one if i use the manual adjuster to set the height it's pops out and when it is in there is 3-4mm of free play in the reflector when i wiggle it whereas the other side appears to have no play in it.
Do you have instructions on how to remove the whole headlamp lamp unit? it may come to that.

There should be no play so it is possible that you haven't quite got it right.
I have the instructions for removing the light unit but hope you don't have to go down that route as the front bumper has to be partially removed.Post if you need the instructions.

Simple jobs have a habit of going pear shaped.
