So my 2004 S60 a couple of weeks ago decided to do the "break the guide" issue (blue plastic) and the window doesn't go up and down properly. Fast forward to yesterday, I got a replacement one and did the rear which was clearly broken and at the bottom of the door. Once I went to use it however, it instantly broke the new one. Now, I'm doing some research and it seems the next smart step is lubricating the regulator and tracks (though they don't seem bad) and then if that doesn't work, replacing the regulator itself for $50 somewhat dollars.

Am I right here? Any other advice?
