Default 2004 XC70 Window regulator slide replacement "auto" feature not working

The two arms of the regulator on the drivers door popped out of the blue plastic slides. I replaced them with new ones, but now when I activate the "auto close" function the window reaches the top and then opens all the way again. Is there a fix for this, or do I have to get it re-programmed at the dealer? Auto open works fine. I can close the window but have to inch it up near the end.

This happened to me on an 04 S60. I did the reprogramming and it worked fine. I'd imagine xc70 would be same. I forgot how I found the solution, try some different search terms.

Most people claim that if you pull the switch to the close position when the window is closed for 10 seconds it reprograms the window. I haven't seen it work on the older cars personally the only sure way I know of is to take it to the dealer and get it re calibrated
