Hi all.
My daughter's car has an issue...It is killing batteries.
I pulled fuses until I got to the 30A fan fuse...then the current dropped to 0.
I did some research and others have found the fan driver to be at fault. However, some have reported that their mechanic changed their 'regulator' which may be the same thing by a different name given that I don't see anything else in the circuit. Looks like the CCM send a PWM signal to a driver module which outputs to the fan...so what is the regulator?
Seems like I need one of these modules? Anyone have another idea?
I used VIDA and it reported two faults:
CCM-0021 Air qualtiy sensor internal fault
CCM-0001 Blower fan motor Signal too low
Now, in subsequent days, the fan not only stays on after the key is out, but it will not follow the control of the speed **** when the vehicle is running. Sometimes it will stay at full speed, even when the **** is lowered. The leds on the **** do change, probably indicating that the CCM is working? Is that a valid assumption?
