I currently own a 2005 s60 2.5T and am looking to reach horsepower gains of +400. I've been doing a lot of research and am curious as if anyone has had their transmission strengthened or found a stronger replacement. I have been talking to elevatecars (I'm stationed in Camp Pendleton) and they have informed me that the stock transmission is only capable of handling 400lbs of torque. Any information I need or advice?

 

for a Non-R S60 2.5T 400HP is a real leep (208 stock)for the "standard tune"DP,Exhaust,intake and a stage 3 tune only gets 270ish Im not sure without doing some real costly changes in engine and trany (using R engine and trany if possible).But i have seen a few T5 and R get to 300hp+ and its quit nice.If you take a look over at http://forums.swedespeed.com/forumdi...282001-2010%29 theres some guy that have done some real extreme Mods to there S60.
